SONGWRITER

James Moss has been writing and performing under the name J's Tonic since 2002. Based in Bath and London, James has spent 12 years composing music and penning poignant lyrics for alt-rock UK bands We Are Falcon and Hot Mess across multiple albums, and 25 years writing for solo act J's Tonic. He has solo writing credits on 7 albums from 2011 to 2026, as well as collaborations with many artists and producers across multiple genres inside the rock, folk, indie, hip-hop, acoustic and jam scenes. Stylistically, he delivers a signature of unwavering commitment to authentic storytelling and melodic integrity - writing with a sincerity that resonates deeply with audiences across the musical spectrum. James also routinely performs his available material under the moniker, J's Tonic, on indie, folk and festival circuits.
